The Society had reached it's final triumph. It had found the ancient texts, and had extracted the essence from the chaff, as their tenants held. The performed the final ritual, the gateway was open. What had they done.
Ibiza became overrun. Demons, Mononoke, what have you, had entered the land. The gateway could not be closed.
You posess a different power. As hope remained in Pandora's box, you have a gift, secretly or openly, to find THE REASON and unleash the TRUE FORM, only then may a demon be banished back into it's realm.
The Reason is a dark world of awakening magic, and bleeding edge technology. Cults practice magic, that, after the incident, have started working. What seems just barely possible in our world is commonplace in The Reason. Fantastic technology can be possessed with many resources, and PDAs are as powerful as laptops now.
Characters will he fantastic. 350 points, with 75 in Complications. Any manner of powers is allowed, but the GM must approve all characters, of course.
Investigations and social activity will live side by side with raw action and power, as before a demons TRUE FORM can be summoned forth and fought back into it's dimension, THE REASON for the demon's summoning my be established, and the ritual of calling must be preformed.
